Never Wicked is a collection of short stories created in aid of The Mayhew Animal Home, London's famous animal shelter: For each copy sold THE MAYHEW BENEFITS by being able to offer supporters a tangible item for their own personal enjoyment, a guilt-free indulgence of entertainment, with a minimum of 50% of sales going to help the charity with their fundraising goals.
To mark The Mayhew's 125th year of service to London's voiceless, We Made This hopes to raise approximately £3000+ from sales of Never Wicked to support this worthy cause.

From Ordinary to Extraordinary
Never Wicked was a labour of love and a tremendous learning experience. We Made This handled and managed every aspect of this creative endeavour from start to finish and had the opportunity to gain real-world publishing experience. We are eager to share information about the process with any writers groups who’d care to start a similar project for a local charity.

We Made This is a group of London-based authors have decided to use talent to make a real difference. Although our backgrounds and styles vary, we share two things in common: our love of writing and our social conscience.
The Goal: to gather together and write short stories that charm and entertain, as well as raise funds and awareness for a local cause.

Established in 1886, The Mayhew Animal Home is one of the busiest and most effective rescue centres in London. Operating locally and internationally, The Mayhew are pro-active and continually work to assist both animals and their carers with educational programmes and
initiatives. The project is timed to celebrate the 125th anniversary of The Mayhew.
